Global Essence UK

I joined Global Essence UK as the Shipping Manager in June 2021. I’m an experienced professional with strong business development background specialised in sourcing, buying, selling products from any country/market requiring strong supplier and customer relationship and have over 20 years’ experience in Import and Export. I find this industry very interesting and I’m really enjoying it. We are a great team that works very hard to meet our customer’s expectations.

In my spare time I teach Spanish, I love walking and cooking my Spanish dishes which my daughters and I love.

After over 30 years working in the essential oils and aroma chemicals world, I still enjoy my daily interactions with my clients, suppliers and friends I have made along the way. I have had the good fortune to travel and visit many producers and customers worldwide and have forged a strong network of contacts gaining much experience in products and the industry as a whole. Being a director of the British Essential Oil Association has also widened my sphere of knowledge and turn a job into a passion.

Having joined Global Essence late 2021, I value the honest and straightforward trading ethics and team spirit in our company which helps us providing a great service our customers.

Hiking in the mountains is my favourite way to escape, a good way to push oneself, stay fit but it can provide some tough challenges.

I joined Global Essence in November 2021 as Purchasing Manager , after spending over 12years in the corporate world ofmanufacturing Flavours & Fragrances. My background is in Purchasing Merchandising & Planning, within Retail & Manufacturing. I believe connection with our customers and suppliers is key to build relationships , trust & knowledge in the industry. I am enjoying my new role and looking forward to the journey with Global Essence UK.

I live by the sea, and I enjoy walks on the beach and exploring the Kent countryside. When I am not out exploring, I have a love for interior design.

Responsible for customers in the UK and Europe, I come from a background of sales and customer service stretching back over 35 years, with seven year's experience in sales at Global Essence UK. I am committed to giving the best service possible to every customer, whatever their size and requirements. I’m honest, hardworking and loyal, now celebrating 10 years at Global Essence UK.

I’m a family man and I like nothing better than going to concerts, sporting events and seeing the world with my wife and two daughters.

I work alongside Daniel in the Customer Service department, organising the import and export of goods worldwide; liaising with suppliers, shipping companies and customers alike. Having worked in the industry for five years, my ability to multitask and work under pressure gets me out of trouble, even on the busiest working day.

I would describe myself as an active person, which is good because I'm a food lover, even though I don’t cook! I am currently busy planning for my wedding in 2021.

I began working in this industry in 1976, at a London-based trading company which handled a wide range of products including essential oils and food chemicals. I moved to Global Essence in March 2004 and it has been of great personal satisfaction to see the steady growth of the company since its early days. With the investment we have made, and will continue to do so, the future looks very positive.

My main role is to ensure that the team have the tools and knowledge to fulfil their roles, whilst always maintaining the highest ethical and moral standards of the company. Being involved with purchasing and sales allows me to keep in regular contact with our suppliers and customers, enabling me to keep abreast of market information - which, for natural products, is absolutely vital.

I love to travel, which fits very well for me as it's a key requirement for this business. Whenever possible I like to squeeze in some time to play golf and socialise.

Sales Executive for customers in the UK and Europe, I started my journey with Global Essence in 2016 sending out samples, before moving on to shipping. I have now been in sales since 2016 and truly enjoy helping our customers grow their business - providing what they need, when they need it, through my service and knowledge.

In my spare time I like to go to the gym, socialise and skiing.

Arranging UK/EU deliveries and imports / exports all over the world with documentation. I began in retail before moving into warehouse management and logistics - and am now responsible for the worldwide logistics of the company. I provide good customer service, ensure deliveries are made in a timely fashion and enjoy developing relationships with both customers and suppliers.

In my spare time, I play Sunday league football and enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter.

With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, working in shipping, purchasing and sales, I joined the team in March this year as a global sales executive. I am enjoying my new role immensely and look forward to helping you source your essential oil and aromatic chemical requirements.
